hey guys

I am working on my final paper (MBA)
the title is: switching behaviour in the fitness industry
It would be absolutely great if you could help me with it by specifying the reasons why you would switch gym

it would also be great if you mentioned other reasons that would be important for you (reasons that I forgot)

thx a lot
Hannes

i would switch for a number of those reasons. the bottom line is, if i can't get any intensity, i will switch. if it is too crowded and i have to wait too long before sets, i would switch. if the equipment is bad and i have to do other exercises, i would switch. however, price can make a lot of these rules go out the window. for example, i go to my university's gym, because i do not have to pay extra for it. it got to be too crowded, so intstead of switching i began going at an off time of day to avoid the crowd. but, if it weren't for the price, i would switch.

I would have to say first off overcrowded gyms are terrible and to second that would be not enough equipment when I have to wait to use weights or a machine it is frustrating because I do not liek to rest between sets. Those are the only real big reasons I would swtich.

if the gym was dirty there would be no way i would go but yeah over crowded gyms are ridiculous, thats why i never go on mondays to my gym i usually have to wait an hour for the treadmills and theres lines for the weights. pricing is big to but there isnt much selection around where i live so im stuck to my gym its pretty good though.

oddly enough its called fitness world... and im on a forum called world fitness

I'm not sure that having to pick just one reason's going to be representative, given that some of the reasons are equally valid.
