Morning running vs afternoon running

ok
does running in the morning (shortly after you wake up) burn more fat 300% more efficient because glycogen levels are down?
because the fat is the only energy your body can turn to, to do the run or excercise?
i hear people saying that when glycogen levels are down , when u do cardio u just burn muscle tissue .. i dont really believe this myself because if you have a proper portion of protein in your diet that it helps you burn fat instead of muscle.

just wondering if morning running is true to burn more fat or if its the same as afternoon runs ... and if it burns muscle (which i dont really believe)
thanks

it is true that your blood sugar levels are down in the morning, but this may make it more difficult for some people to train. and if it's difficult to get the energy to run four miles that you would easily run in the afternoon, then you're not doing much good training in the morning.

it's really up to you and how well you train in the morning as compared to the afternoon or evenings. but if you can get more out of a training session when you have the evergy to push harder and longer, then that's when you should train.

think about eating a small snack about thirty minutes before the morning work out. that way you avoid the empty stomach aches and you're blood sugar level is raised and you have the energy to go... if your body isn't trained to burn or utilize fat for energy, like beginers, then your body will turn to protein for energy and this can lead to slower metabolism, weak muscles, and longer muscle repair/recovery time.

This is the way I think about it. Run as soon as you can after you wake up without eating anything. Why? Because what energy are you running off of? Stored energy. Therefore, burning fat.

Eat and go run and you have to burn those calories you just consumed.

Thats just my opinion.

yeah

thank you for the input
its just something i wish there was a yes or no answer to ... but i dont think there is.
because .. yeah u burn off more fat instead of sugar/carbs when u run in the morning (because theres no sugar/carbs to turn to for energy) ... but then u just consume more when u eat for the rest of the day, which u have to turn to your metabolism for it to burn those sugars and carbs thruout the day.

then if u run in the afternoon ... yea .. u burn more sugar and carbs off and not as much fat compared to morning runs ..... but then u can let the rest of your day (everyday activities/sleeping ect) burn the fat because after your run in the afternoon your glycogen levels will already be down leaving nothing but fat to be burned. and if ya got a decent metabolism then sugars and carbs wont be there for you to burn.. (becuz u just burnt them off in your run) ... allowing your everday activities to turn to the fat for energy and burn it off.

anyways ... ive come to think that they both work just fine .. just in different ways ...
maybe morning might work better ... maybe not ... maybe a little more.
either way ... ne time of day u exercise its always exercise and it will burn the calories and itll strengthen ur cardiovascular system.
thnx tho ... i still wana hear more input on this if you have it.
