Morning Run and breakfast.

I've been running more often in the morning now, since I dont have the time at night. Problem is I have to wake up an extra hour earlier because i have to eat a bowl of cereal, take a crap, let the food settle for an hour then run. The whole purpose of the breakfast is to take the morning bowel movement so i dont have to deal with it while running.

My question is there anyway to cut out breakfast until later, and not worry about stomach cramps on the run? So i could just wake up and run with out having to wait an hour and a half.

Instead of eating a full breakfast, I eat a Kashi granola bar before I run then eat breakfast.

I find the the granola bars holds off the hunger pangs until I am finished running and they are fairly low cal (like 140 or so, with 20 carbs, 4 fiber and 5 or 6 protein).

I have the same problem, Slick...or I'll get a stitch..its tough also because you only have so much time in the morning so to wait around is hard!

Take down a good pre-aerobic workout meal. Example gatorade, bcaa's, maybe some caffeine. For the low carbers, protein (whey), caffeine and water....just examples

I'm thinking of just eating a light dinner, and popping up at 4:30 or so tomorrow and bam! go for a run. I'll let you guys know how it goes.
