Mixed Diets?

Ok im currently on a low fat diet, but ive been told that a high protein diet is good to start buring off the fat, but if i mixed the diets does it still have the same affect or should i stick with one or the other?
 
Don't think "low fat" or "high protein". Try to split your total calories into percentages of your macronutrients. Try to keep it around 40 percent protein, 40 percent carbs, 20 percent fat.

Ditto. Just remember, that no matter what the percentages are, to keep the intake lower than your expenditure.

And you can do "low-fat" + "high-protein." You can have a high-protein diet but still eat plenty of carbs - don't get it confused w/ Atkins.
