missed days

if say you workout religiously mon wed &fri and miss a day (fri) would guilt kick in and would u also try and amend the week after or does missing 1 day really matter not that much?
 
If you miss Friday, why not just do the workout Sat? O agree with Karky that one day is not a big deal. If it happens every other week or so you will end up with plateaus.
 
If you miss a day, move it forward one day. If you miss Mon, do tuesday, thursday, sat. Etc. 1 day doesnt matter anyway.
 
depending on the split, it could matter if you bump it up a day...you don't want to still be recovering. sometimes you can just adjust the volume of the 'makeup' workout to account for this, IF its even an issue at all.

another option would be to pay off the guilt by doing a 'fun' activity, like playing tennis, basketball, soccer, etc. it may not be the same kind of exercise, but its still more active than sitting at home, and it'll improve your mood and attitude, to prevent burnout.
 
i haven't gone yet today, i feel like a big bag of ass. not guilty or anyhing like that, just f'n tired and feeling crappy
