Day 1
Hi everyone, my name is Michael, Im 27 years old and at the moment weighing in at about 255pounds, or 116kg, like we use here in Europe.
The reason and my motivation for finally deciding to change my life around is myhealth and my family. I really want to live for another 50 years. Idont drink and i don't smoke, so why should i put poison and garbage in my piehole?
That and i saw some pictures of myself at the beach that made me really notice... I think it's just like when you hear your voice recorded. You know it is you but you just don't recognize yourself...
Anyway. Today was my first day. I struggled, mostly with my nr 1 problem, that heavenly milk-chocolate. But i have done well so far and its only another 4 hours left until day 1 is completed.
I have set myself some goals, the first one being after i loose 6kg. Or the first 12 pounds or so. I aim to finish that by the 17th of August.
My longer term goal is for the 1st of january 2012. I aim to weigh in at 90kg or 180 pounds... That is not my final goal, but i think i need to do baby steps, one pound at a time...
What do you guys think about goals and weighing yourself often? I can't
decide If i should measure my belly or my total weight?
What have you guys done?
Anyway, I really hope to someday be sharing my success story here, with you all.
