Hey everyone!
So, my name is Michael I am 17 years old this 25 of July.
I want to start a diary so I can keep record of my journey and of course get motivation from you guys!
It isn´t the first time I try to lose weight, I have been at it ever since I was 13... I´m not quite sure...
This time I want to make it work! I´ve got 3 months now in the summer and I want to make the useful.
Important facts:
Starting weight: 106.8 Kg (235 lbs) ---- 24.June.2011
Height: 184 cm (6 ft)
Goal weight: 75 to 77 Kg (165 lbs to 170 lbs)
I am planning this journey by weeks:
1st part: 24th June to 5th August (6 weeks)
2nd part: 5 August to 2nd September (4 weeks)
3rd part: 2nd September to 16 September (school starts)
That would add up to about 22 kg (48 lbs) during the summer.
4th part: 16 September onwards Goal weight: 170 lbs
Obviously this is just a plan, I don´t know if it is too tight or not real, but atleast I´ve got something to work for.
How am I doing this:
-------- Gym. I will, when I´m at home, try to go to the gym everyday, burn about 600 calories.
-------- Swimming, when I´m at home I will try to go swimming after the gym and swim about 40 lengths which is what I used to be able to do before... I takes me about 40 min.
-------- Eating less, healthier and "counting" calories somewhere in my head.

I can´t really post what I have eaten today because it is just before lunchtime but I will try to log on to keep you updated.

Estimated weight loss: 12 kg (26 lbs)
2nd part: 5 August to 2nd September (4 weeks)
Estimated weight loss: 6 kg (13 lbs)
The reason for separating this second part is because I won´t be at home but at a workcamp, where, although requires physical work, they do tend to feed very well! So my goal loss for those four weeks is less.
3rd part: 2nd September to 16 September (school starts)
Estimated weight loss: 4 Kg (8lbs)
