I heard that the scales you stand on aren't great, only taking into account some of the bodys fat.

- why are they problematic?
The Maltron BF906 (electronic impedience; ~£360) is waaay too expensive so it looks like it's calipers for me if at all, but:
- Why are calipers considered accurate? I mean, you're squeezing a piece of skin; accurate calipers are no good if you if you pinch too much skin right, or pinch muscle? Then you have to add age into the equation; more source for error. Are these problems acknowledged somewhere?
