Measuring Body Fat

Are there any simple and accurate ways to measure my body fat? I've read a lot about it on the net, but most sites have disclaimers that tend to make me think its just an algorithm. Any chance there's something more accurate I can do myself?

you can have someone check it for you at a nearby gym. or you can use skinfold calipers. i have one by accumeasure that i got for $10 dollars. the margin of error on these can be around 2%.

but if you're like me and just want to get a rough idea, they'll get the job done. :)

why do you want to know exactly how much body fat you have?

I have a reaccession physical coming up with the Navy. I'd like to get back in, and to do so, I have to have under 20% bodyfat. I'm pretty sure I do, but I'd like to know before I go to MEPS.

I found this link on another forum. Its a bunch of different bodyfat calculators, one of them it says is used by the US Navy.
