Measuring balance, agility, coordination, and accuracy

Heh every1,

Recently I have come to the realization that most of my athletic training thus far has been built up around pure fitness traits like cardiorespiratory endurance, muscle strength, muscle explosiveness, flexibility, muscle endurance. What are some ways for me to measure progress in fine motor fitness components like agility, balance, coordination, and accuracy? Also, what are all the different "categories" of accuracy and coordination anyways? Hand-eye coordination, hand-foot coordination, foot-eye coordination, foot-foot coordination? Accuracy/dexterity with arms, fingers, feet?

Do you practice for any particular sport? thing is, all these things are very specific. Hand eye coordination, for example.. catching a ball and treading a needle would both be examples of this. Do you think that being good at treading a needle will make you good at catching balls? it won't. Your best bet is to figure out what skill(s) you want to be good at and practice them.

Ya, I suppose coordination and accuracy kind of depend on the specific activity they are applied to. I don't have any particular sport I want to get good at; however, I guess I want to increase foot-eye coordination to not get embarrassed when playing DDR and increase hand-eye coordination to play ball sports better? I guess my big-picture question is: what are the broad categories/classifications all applications of coordination/accuracy fall under?
