Meals...

I eat three meals a day, most days i keep exactly the same so....here they are:

meal 1(breakfast): 2 pieces of toast (light flora margarine), 1 banana, 1 orange and a glass of milk.

Meal 2(lunch): 2 bread buns (light flora margarine), 2 small turkey slices in each, glass of water

Meal 3(dinner): depends but mostly i just have the same as dinner or spaghetti hoops on toast with a glass of water

If i get hungry i usually eat a piece of fruit or if thirsty a glass of water.

Can anyone tell me if this is a suitable diet!?!?!

WAYYY too many carbs. You should have 1 slice of bread per day MAXIMUM. You need much more protein in your meals. Consider this:

Meal 1:
Oats + Milk
Glass of water

Meal 2:
2 pieces of fruit
Protein bar
Glass of water

Meal 3:
GRILLED chicken (add herbs to get taste.
Salad (easy on the dressing)
Glass of water

Meal 4:
Piece of fruit
Tuna on wholewheat bread
Glass of water

Meal 5:
Add the remaining tuna into a salad
Glass of water

Meal 6:
Cottage cheese
Glass of water

Many meals increases metabolism and this diet should work. Someone correct me if im wrong please :)

yep, that's a pretty poor diet. nothing but carbs and a little fat. balance is what you need to aim for, as in a variety of foods. the suggestions above are good ones.

Yeah, that is too many carbs. Not the fact that its really too many ... but that all it is... is carbs. If you're not a very active person, too many carbs will just turn to fat...and that just sucks.
You need to throw protein in with every meal.

You also need to eat more than 3 times a day ... try 5 or 6.

I would say 2 servings of bread per day is maximum ... as whole grain bread is a great source of vitamins and nutrients/carbohydrates/fiber and some protein.
White bread on the other hand, is a horrible source of everything and will just hold you back on whatever you're trying to do.

Also, ditch the margarine ..... traannssssffaatt. Margarine sucks anyways... why not just throw on some natural peanut butter instead.

Sorry i couldn't lay out a complete diet plan for you... u can pm sometime and ill see wat i could put together for you.
good luck :)

pieces of fruit or whole fruits?

thing is im pretty much the fussiest eater anyones ever known and have a limited source of what i can eat without hurlin it back up (bit too graphic there sorry) i forgot to mention im eating weetabix in a mornin instead now lol and tuna/salad/cottage cheese.....for me NOOOO lol i just cant eat them!!! my mam does by chicken breasts, just plain chicken breasts by the dozen and makes stir frys so i mite try one of them

thanks

also....forgot to add. when i go to the gym i do eat a protein bar but at £1.50 a bar its pretty much as im not in a job at the moment and im guessin this site is used by a lot of americans thats like 3 dollars or a bit less

i mean whole fruits.
Go to tescos...they sell cheap protein bars in multi-packs.
Instead of tuna have lean beef. Instead of cottage cheese have another protein bar. Learn to work around meals so u get a variety.
Salad is a must!!! Add some fat free dressing and mix with chicken and your sorted.
Remember: Sacrifice is giving up something good, for something better

That's not too many carbs at all, if anything you're eating too little. What it is is unbalanced you have to add protein to your diet and make sure what type of carbs you're getting in

the diet coulsons suggested is really good, if you count the carbs it probably has more carbs than what you posted but it's balanced with a good amount of protein.

Except I'd leave out the protein bar in meal 2

Rather than a protein bar, just get a natural source of protein like chicken breast or cottage cheese. Protein bars (really, all bars) tend to have high sugar.

in any case you might want to start eating more, fussy or not. you may have serious medical problems down the road if you dont eat more - and eat more balanced food.
