Hey there,

My name is Steve and as long as I can remember I was a round kid. When I was kid I suffered about it, so I got into a sports and lost some weight, actually I lost 30 pounds in three months. Later I had to quit and gained some weight back.

My problem is that it's not that hard to loose weight for me. I just need to exercise (I choose jogging) and watch my food. The problem is that I gain weight every-time I reach my goal-weight.

I mean, this summer I reached my goal, I lost 20 kgs or 50 pounds (a lot of exercise and a strict diet), but after I did that I stopped everything. I stopped exercising, quit my diet and got lazy once again - so, I gained back 10kgs; 20 pounds... Horrible.

So, right now my goal is to once again reach weight of 85kg (187 pounds) and get a habit of exercising regularly and sticking to my diet. That's my main goal.

I guess that's it. Wish me luck and see you soon!

That must be frustrating, obviously you cant just cold turkey everything once you get to your goal weight...it is a life style change so there for you need to keep on doing everything after you have reached your goals...welcome aboard...

I totally agree with that it's life style change.

Actually I recently bought Anthony Robbin's "Personal Power 2" and I think it's a MUST for everyone who wants to achieve their goals and needs motivation to do that. I really recommend it!

Steve McQueen???? Hello georgeous! :) lol
haha i was thinking the same :D

try finding out how many calories you use when you get to your goal weight, and then eat that amount a day to maintain it.
You will soon learn that its 'either the chocolate or the cake' rather than 'i cant eat that' or 'ill take both!'

Best wishes for your journey again :)

I've been there time and time again. I am a little bit different in that I don't seem to reach my goal weight before gaining again. I'll lose 20, gain 10. Then lose 2, and gain 25. I have this problem of rewarding myself for any amount of weight loss (as in, let's go to Sonics! And, oh yeah, I want dessert!). That's why for this whole month I have given up eating fast food. I want my body to see how beneficial that is. I've realized the hard way that I must support myself, almost entirely alone through weight loss, and it's hard. So I hope that this site, and all the lovely people here, can add to your support circle as they have mine. Good luck!
