Man Breasts

Any1 got any idea how to get rid of "man breasts". Im probably bout 21-25 pounds overweight but ive got these man breasts. I know a diet helps and im on one, but these are big fugging things. ;) Ive heard barbell bench presses might help me. Has any1 got any idea how many reps a day I should do, and and at what weight I should set them at (if u could b specific about last part that would b gr8).

The weight training will help build your chest muscles, but it won't get rid of the fat - there is no spot reducing, unfortunately. If you want to lose fat (wherever it is on your body you want to lose), you have to include a cardio workout in your exercise routine. A combination of lifting, cardio, and a clean diet will help you on your way to nice, hard pecs.

trust spock she knows her stuff im doing almost exactly that and my "man breasts" have gone so much and i can flex my chest make it go up and down.

Ok Cool. Im 6 feet tall and a few years ago I got down to something like 12 stone, admittedly without doing much excercise, but they were still there . Is a normal balanced diet ok? Thats what Im doing just now, just cutting out chocolate and fatty stuff etc. Is this ok? Or should I b trying to do a very low carbohydrate diet? I guess my carbohydrates are just balanced just now, but I take low fat crisps etc. Low carbohydratee diets seem to b quite popular just now.

Also I walk three and a half miles every day, and do stretching excercises. Is this the sort of thing youre talking about? Or is there something I should b doing?

A well-balanced diet is perfect. I do not think it's necessary to limit macro-nutrient intake. Cutting out chocolate and other fatty foods is a perfect step for fat loss. If you can, eat 5-7 smaller meals per day, and a serving of protein with each.

The walking you are doing is definitely a plus. However, consider starting a weight-training routine. Do you belong to a gym? Lifting weights will boost your metabolism to help you burn more fat. You should also try to increase the intensity of your cardio - start jogging or running for parts of your 3 mile walk, and eventually, try to run the whole thing. Take things slowly, though, so you can get used to it and don't end up w/ an injury. And there is no need to run/jog everyday - 4 times a week is fine. But if you're just walking, since it's low-intensity, you can do it everyday.

low carb diets are bad, they just starve the body of the energy it needs and when you finally do go back to eating carbs you blow up like a balloon, becuase your body was in starvation mode.
