Making life a fantasic roller coaster ride!

Greetings fellow forum lurkers :)

My name is Azara and I am neglecting my body.

Yep, it happened to me too. The funny thing is that as a child I was never overweight, quite the opposite actually, I was considered too skiny. But as a 19 year old music student, who is way to overstressed I just didn't have the will and energy to look after myself. I love to eat! I love to munch on things especially when I work a lot. And unfortuntely I am not active enough.

BUT!

I'm a man with a plan! Well a girl actually, but you get the idea. The most stressful period of my student life has ended. My holidays are starting soon, and with the upcoming months, years I will have a lot more time for myself. Thus I have decided to get back into shape, get fit, get back my energy and start living properly. Start living my life like if I was on a wild roller coaster ride!

I am very glad I've found this forums, looks like a fantastic bunch of inspirational, motivational and helpful folks!

This is it I guess, Azzy is off to make a journal herself! :D

Regards from Slovenia! :piggy:

Hello and welcome to the site!

Best of luck on your journey and I'm sure you will find many resources here that will help you out. I too am... err was... or trying to not be a muncher when working too much as well as throwing on when I'm bored or have nothing to do much less stop when I am full rather than eat just because food tastes good.

I love food too... I think most people do :D

Isn't it awful, when you're full, but you still want "just a lil' bit more" cause it's so good and tasty!? Goddam food, why are you so good and delicious :)

All the best !!

Hey there....

Wish you all the best in your endeavour !! Ive joined in new as well ... Im aiming on a 30 pound loss by October 1st ! Wheeeeeeeee !!!

Hi!

It sounds like you have a really positive outlook on weight loss!

I put on a lot of weight as a student too, before that I was actually skinny as well. I used to just sit doing essays, drinking tea and eating biscuits, bagels, getting take aways because I too tired to cook. Oh and of course the a couple of glasses of wine a night to de-stress!

Good luck with your journey, I look forward to hearing about your progress :)
