Make it better?

Ok, so I started getting really serious about weight loss on Feb 18, 2008.

I started by cutting my portions in half, eating half a sub, half a wrap, etc...and added 20 mins a day on the exercise bike (at 30 mins now), with the tension at a 10 of 20 levels.

I started at 341lbs on 2/18/08.

As of 3/24/08, im at 322. And it seems to have slowed down alot. I have been good on my diet, but not really sure how to improve. Let me fill you in...

Breakfast - 6:30am - 2 waffles, Eggo Homestyle + medium syrup. OR Yogurt. (6:30am)

Snack - 8:30a-9:30am - Weight Watchers Smart Ones microwave sandwich (290 calories) or a Fat Buster Smoothie from Tropical Smoothie

Lunch - 11:30am-1pm - Sandwich, turkey or italian with vegetables, light mayo, light salt/pepper...usually half a standard sub

Snack - 3:30pm - Another Smart ones, or something similar in calories in the microwave

Gym - 5:15-6pm - Lifting weights, 30 mins on bike. According to bike with weight and age input, I'm riding about 9.5-10 miles and burning roughly 300 calories.

Dinner - 6-7pm - As light as possible. Maybe a can of low sodium soup, i would guess i dont eat more than 400 calories for dinner.

These times are approximate of course, but I do wait until my stomach growls before eating each time. At first when I started, I sped up my metabolism by eating small, multiple times a day to teach my body.

Now that you're bored completely by reading this, can anyone give me tips or help me with meals on how to get my weight loss up again?

I would DEF cut out the weight watchers meals, eggo, syrup...

i know there on a "diet" plan but that shit is just full of rubbish! make your own sandwiches...you will at least know whats going into them

eggos are full of sugar and white flour, syrup is just plain sugar. Try and get low calorie syrup (which stull isint that good for you) if you really need some.

and just keep on doing what your doing. Your doing really well!! congrats!!

1. do you know how many calories you are eating?

2. if you want waffles, eat a whole grain waffle..more expensive but healthier

3. you don't have to do the exact same thing in the gym every night.

Well, simply, how many calories are you eating? If you're not counting the calories in everything you eat per day, you'll never really know how what you're eating affects the amount of weight you lose.

If you're not counting already, you may want to total up everything on a normal day for you. Since you've lost weight already, your BMR has lowered, and therefore to consistently lose at the same rate you were before, you need to take that total and drop it anywhere from 100-300 calories.

If you are counting calories, you should already know this and just drop your calorie amount. To do this, you may want to replace the Eggo waffles with something more healthy, get rid of the mayo on the sandwiches(even though it's light), replace the weight watchers thing with fruit, a vegetable, or a different lower-calorie snack...

Also, never trust the counts for 'calories burned' on any of the machines, generic lists, etc. They almost ALWAYS tell you that you're burning much more than you actually are. They're so ridiculously far from accurate that they tend to cause hoards of problems for many people incorporating the count into their plan. If you MUST know how many calories you're burning, your closest bet is a heart monitor.
