I was wondering if I could get some peoples opinions/suggestions on this meal plan. I'm done cutting for the summer and want to maintain ym current BF%, how does this sound?

Meal 1 - Protein Shake w/ soy milk
Meal 2 - 5oz Chicken, 1cup Brown rice
Meal 3 - 6oz Tuna w/ onions and lettuce, Protein bar, Orange
Meal 4 - 1cup Carrots, 2 eggs, banana, apple
Meal 5 - 3oz Chickenm 1cup Brown rice
Meal 6 - Protein Shake w/soy milk
Meal 7 - 1/2cup cottage cheese, 1 rice cake

I also take a muti-vit and fish oil.
Any suggestions are greatly apprecieted!

Thanks,
-Mark.

Your diet looks super-clean :)
(except for the soy milk - are you lactose intolerant or something?)

My only suggestion is to compare it to your current diet and be sure it's not going to create a deficit, or go too far over your calorie limit. It's hard trying to find the balance in your diet to maintain...

Yes, I'm lactose intolerant. It's around 1950 cal so I think it should be right on. I'm sure I'll have to give it some tweaking over the next couple days or weeks. Thanks for the feedback.

spock...is it hurting me that im not drinking protein shakes...i thought i would get enough by all the chicken i eat and the egg whites and steak n all...and the 13g of protein from the kashi cereal

Another quick question, I have a protein bar in there, any suggestions on what I can use to replace it? It's already difficult for me to find time to make rice, chicken and eggs...

Thanks,
-Mark.

gee-bus I totally skimmed over the protein bar! Those are no good!
You're already eating the tuna in the same meal... do you really need the bar? It just seems unnecessary, especially with 6 ounces of tuna. I think you should just replace the calories somewhere else in your diet; and it looks like you could add a serving of fats - perhaps an ounce of raw nuts, like almonds or walnuts, or 1-2T natural peanut butter.

I'll drop the protein bar and add some nuts in at that time. Thanks again for the help.
