Hello everyone, I am new here and still trying to figure everything out. My big mantra is to get healthier, not skinnier - that is a by-product (which I love, by the way!) It all started for me on Aug. 9th, 2012 when I realized I needed to seriously lose 30 plus pounds. I am big into health and doing a lot of things for my health (natural supplements, organic food, skin brushing, massages, chiropractor visits, etc) BUT I was overweight! I'm also a commited Christian so I truly wanted to keep my one body that God gave me on earth to be healthy so I can serve Him longer.
So I made that commitment on Aug 9th and that was to lose 20 lbs in 90 days. I worked hard at it and included Shaklee 180 which is a healthy weight management program. Well, I lost 26 lbs in the 90 days and now I am down 33 lbs.
The really great thing is that I am so much healthier and you know what else? I have new confidence when I am wearing clothes that fit instead of are baggy!
So I want to continue to maintain the loss, be active, and possibly lose another 10 lbs or so, so keep me accountable! I'm exercising (though I was also exercising before I lost too as movement is important to me.)
