I was reading the posting about setting goals, drinking 64 ounces of water a day, drinking v8 juice, and fruit juice and just plane exercising. Well i have set some of those goals aready and already achieved 2 of them. For the past 3 days i have drank my share of water, exercised and had the v8 juice, no snacking after dinner and avoided 2 huge temptation so i feel pretty proud of myself, i am determined to keep this up. And i did my first weigh in Saturday morning. Thank you for forum, i know i will get the support i need and i hope i can be a supporter to some one as well.:D
 
that's awesome - one goal at a time.. one step at a time.. and like rudolph's song goes.. put one foot in front of the other ... and soon you'll be walking out the door.. or something like that :D

Careful with the V-8 juice... while it's fairly healthy for you - it also has a ton of sodium in it.. that can lead to water retention... (and to be perfectly frank - the low sodium stuff is just blech to me :D Some like it though with lots of tabasco in it...

Hey there! Sounds like you've got some great goals! Congrats on resisting the temptations--not always an easy thing when everyone around you is going 'You've gotta try this!'

Thanks for the encouragement. The biggest challange is the weekends. And i made it through the first weekend of this adventure. And i feel good about it.
