Ughhh!!!!!

I feel like i'm getting that same feeling again (the symptoms I reported a while ago coming back) e.g. feeling of emptyness, light stomach aches/pains, feeling sick in the mornings and having mild headaches. I'm wondering if it's my body adjusting from the change in diet (from when I went away to Paris for a week and ate take outs all the time).

I've not changed my diet otherwise; I think i'm still eating the same size portions. The only difference is lack of animal produce (e.g. no meats or diary). I think i'm supplying myself with suitable protein substitutes - that's why I think it's an issue with my body readjusting.

Anyway... enough of my hopeless rants and anger at the misunderstanding of my body....

Ryan, you are not eating enough to sustain you again. No wonder you are feeling empty, have headaches, stomach pains etc. Please get some help with diet & nutrition. Have you moved yet? If you have & are more settled then it may be a good idea to join a healthy weight-loss support group or see a GP & get a referral to a nutritionist. Please look after yourself better xo

@cate it has got better; I didn't eat two nights in a row due a busy schedule. I have my university report due in by the end of the month and I am pushing to have it submitted next week.

I am gradually moving; I will have officially have moved on the 1st September. I finish employment in London on the 31st August ready for the next academic year. I would love to join a health group or at least find someone to go through this experience with - I have a friend who said he is trying to lose weight but I don't think he is taking it seriously - a bit of a joke and I think even if he was to join me next year at university he would only pull me down (whether that's actually a good thing in terms of increasing my consumption of food). I don't know but I am happy with what I'm doing - it just is frustrating that I know in the back of my head it's not healthy but my head doesn't tell me that I need or want to eat.

Gym
Generally the same. I was really happy with today's session; I managed to run at 11.5km/hr for 2 minutes. I thought this was a good acomplishment for me; the last I remember feeling that accomplished was when I managed to run at 9km/hr for about ~1minute when I first started. I also managed to maintain a steady 8.5km/hr for about 5 minutes and I probably could have gone on if I didn't over do it before/ after that steady jog.

Approx 20minutes jogging today.

I'm relieved about that. I think you would do well to find something really simple that you could start your day off with, hungry or not. Even just a piece of fruit & a little cheese or yoghurt. Your metabolism would thank you. Do you like bananas? They are so convenient.

@cate

I use to really enjoy my wheatabix and fruit every morning; I today just finished my box of shreddies so i'll make sure I replace them with wheatabix.

I'd have that with banana, raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, apple and more.

That's a good idea. I add a little almond meal when I have cereal too, just for some extra protein. Maybe buy a bag of chopped up trail mix?

Yeah I looked at having some kind of nuts / seeds with my meal but my nearest supermarket is Waitrose and it's so expensive to buy a little bag of something like that. I'm also worried i'll get something I won't like inside it.

If you can buy some raw nuts that aren't too expensive, chop them up & keep them in a jar & sprinkle them on your cereal that would work too. Almonds are good.

My big butt has got lazy at posting on here. I want to say I've been busy (I have!) but it doesn't take long to post and I have been avoiding it. My university report is now finished; I've got a lot on my plate in terms of sorting out things at work but again it's no excuse.

I think my diet is slipping aswell; i'm still trying to get back into the flow of the gym (3 times a week) however I didn't go on Monday; I went yesterday and should have gone today.

My weight didn't decrease at all from 113kg from when I last weighed; it's just gone up and down around 113-115kg. I don't know if I've hit a wall in terms of losing weight or I if I just need to push myself a little harder to force my body into requiring the extra use of that fat in my reserves.
