Lower back 'pain'

Hi all,

Just a quick query. I deadlifted my 1RM yesterday and today I'm having abit of 'pain' in my lower back. I'm not 100% sure though if its muscular(ie domf) or I had bad posture/form and its something I should be worrying about?! I only felt it this morning when I woke up so I was thinking if it was proper damage(put my back out type of thing) I would've felt it straight away?!

Give it a couple days rest. I get that sometimes and the body will just heal itself. Just try to maintain correct posture next time.
 
Could be DOMS, or it could be a small strain or sprain. Your best bet would be a little RICE (rest, compression, ice, and elevation) over the next few days. If it doesn't improve, or gets worse throughout the week, you may want to see your doc.
