Lower back pain...

Just got back from the gym with a pretty annoying lower back pain.. don't know how to explain it; just like my end of the spine is hurting when im in a particular position. The pain started after doing some squats... This isn't the first time this occurs.
Is it normal, expected, since I had a 20days break of lifting? Is there a way I can prevent/cure this..

Sorry bout my bad english.
Tnx.

could this be a "lower back pump"? you know, like when you get a biceps pump after you do curls, only in your lower back. Ive heard about it and its suppose to hurt.

If not, you probobly used your lower back too much on the squat, either because of wrong form, or the lower back is the weakest link in your chain.

Yeah, I used to get that pain as well after I did squats because I had bad form. Make sure that you are doing it right, not putting all the weight on it.

I never get pain in my spine. the muscles around it ache after deadlifting, but its nto pain, and its not skeletal.

are you keeping your lower back arched when squatting? its sounds like you're maybe letting it round out, opening you up to spinal and muscle injury.

I'm with Malkore.....definitely check your form here.
You want to prevent this, never underestimate a good warmup.
If you are doing heavy squats you will need to do AIS, Dynamic, Neuro warmup to get the body ready for the onslaught.

Also, train in other planes of motion. Most back pain (on average) in the gym is from LACK of hip mobility.....tight hip flexor complex....tight calves....etc.
Train in other ranges of motion as well.
I have outlined a few exercises here:
