Low Rep High Weight || High Rep Low Weight

Alright so my question is .. If you do a low rep of something and put on alot more weight and say do 6-10 of thiem copaired to doing 15-20 of a higher weight, Whats the difference? I hear the higher weight lower rep makes you bulkier and bigger but the high rep low weight makes you more like ..thinner muscley look kinda. o.0

I think due to all the high rep workouts i did in the past i try to justify that i never wasted my time :(

Considering i was heavy into sports i guess it increased my endurance but not much in the way of body composition.

It's not wasted time if it meets the goal of the individual. Those in endurance sports would do well to work with higher weights. It's just a common misconception that there's actually a "toning" style of weight lifting. I'd say running a high intensity circuit would come close to what most people think of when they think they are "toning."

Toning can be interchanged with the cutting cycle, which primarly revolves around ones diet.

The average trainee will do just fine to work in the 6-12 rep range.

Yeah i know that now i spent a good 2 years in my basement thinking i could get cut using high reps when i was a teenager. Mine you i never worked out a lot (2 to 3 days a week) but that would of meant a lot if i went with heavier weights.
