Hey everyone...I was hoping someone could give me a little information..... Well, I just started the whole "low carb diet thing" lol... My Dr. told me to really try and cut some carbs out of my diet because of my Insulin Resistance and PCOS. Well I just started my diet last week and I have a couple questions... (I don't go back to my Dr. for another month).. Anyway, I'v been eating 2 to 4 fruits a day.... And for veggys I mainly eat cucumbers and salad...and brocoli throughout the day.. For lunch I'v been having like half a sandwich (with wheat bread), lunch meat and cheese, and a fruit and a few cucumber slices. And for breakfast i'v been having oatmeal.. with cottege cheese and an apple or something. And for dinner, I'v been having steak salads.... again with a fruit and veggy. This isn't like "all" i'm eating..but this is just an idea of what my diet consists of.. I was just wondering if anyone knows if this sounds like a good diet to help insulin resistance and pcos. I'm really really trying to lose weight so i can get my body back to normal...and my hubby and I are also trying to get pregnant...So my Dr. told me dieting would be verrrrrrry beneficial for me. Sorry this is kinda long...lol..Any info would be greatlyyyy appreciated!!! Thanks, God Bless... -Danielle
