low carb diet?

this year i got two stints put in my heart doing good now heart dr wants me to lose around 40 lbs going by that chart my regular dr thinks that a little much say i am built very thick said 10-15 lbs i am trying to exersize to lose it but i stay about 235 lbs i thought about trying a meat diet but dont know if its that good for you .any good diet plans anyone can suggest thank you Terrence
 
You should measure and track the foods you ARE eating to get an idea of what your intake currently is, and then you can make decisions about how to change it. That said, you might want to consider a more balanced diet in which your first consideration is protein, along with carbs and healthy fats.
