Low Back

Just threw it out a couple days ago and went to the doctor. No lifting for 2 weeks, just active recovery. Any suggestions for some really good core training that can creaet sufficient balance throughout my whole core? I feel like my problem is balance. I have always had a strong abdomen but obviously not a strong core or lower back.

If your back is done in, any core work would I'd have thought, add stress to your back as your lower back is right on your core.

If you do find things ease off- and only if its well on its way to recovery, maybe try simple things like standing on one leg with your eyes closed, then try touching your toes with your eyes closed, repeat on one leg, repeat on the half bosu ball, repeat with a medicine ball in one hand....

Pilatae classes may also be good to try as you then have a professional who knows all the moves and what would be too risky to your back.

when it is feeling better start doing some hyperextensions to strengthen your lower back, lower back injuries suck, i feel for you
