Love Handles!

Well I use to lift 5 times a week rest 2 days for about 7 months strait. However recently I have stoped lifting completely for baseball, I have a really bad case of tendonitis in my right wrist.
So I can NOT lift at all to risk ferther injury. Meenwhile I have been gaining some weight while not lifting. mostly in my sides (Love handles). Im sick of it im really frustrated at the fact I cant lift becasue of my wrist and ferther more my love handles. So my question is how do you lose these pesky love handles? I am very dedicted at what I do When I do it, so if someone where to help me out and give me a simple work out plan to rid me of these love handles and a diet plan I would be 100% dedicated and Devote all my time to doing this. Thankyou.

Sorry to hear about your injury... Are you doing any sort of rehab for it?

As far as the "love handle" issue I've said it 100 times and I'll probably say it 100 times more... FOR YOU.. the "love handle" area is probably the first place where fat is stored when you eat.... So that means, it's the last place fat is burned... that's why you see some people with little "pouches"....

It is difficult to get rid of because doing just abdominal work is not going to get rid of it. (because if it did, there wouldn't be an over-weight person in this world).... You need to work on your cardio... You could try Interval Training... By either increase the speed or incline every 30 secs after you job for 1 sec... some newer treadmills/GFX/etc... machines have preset "interval training" right no them...

If you see a physical therapist, you could try asking him if you could try lifting with a wrist brace on... it's uncomfortable and annoying but at least you can lift a bit...

Great. I have Alot of Expirance Myself. I always find all I can about lifting and eating right. I just never thought i would end up with love handles lol. I never learned how to get get rid of them. I knew it had with good eating however and plenty of orobics. But have no work out plan :(
