Love handles & Small Beer Belly

I have been weight training for a few months and am pleased with the results so far.....

But what is the best way to lose the love handles a beer belly. I do run 30 mins at a fast pace about 4 times a week but want to know the most effective way to shed a little around the waist.

I do not need to lose a great deal and have cut out the beer I drink at the weekend. My diet is pretty good.

Please advise

Diet and time. To loose the fat it's gonna take some diet exercise and time. If you're happy with the running your doing now, then I say stick with it. I suggest throwing in some weight training and clean up your diet.

indeed

Many people are unaware at how large a role a clean diet plays in fat loss - exercise alone will not rid you of your lovehandles. And it goes way beyond giving up beer.

oh for sure.
Clean diet is definatley 1st priority.
I eat really clean and im still losing fat just from workouts being my only form of activity!
I still do cardio, but there have been some weeks here and there without cardio and i was still burning the fat.

take the time to adopt new, clean eating habits. You'll be glad u did :D

clean diet meaning no cheat at all??
like one day a week have something bad? i just started eating really healthy after a long batle trying to lose any kind of weight on the Atkins. Never again i must say. BUT I do have a nighttime battle with the munchies. bad bad i know. so how do i rid myself of it? just eat fruits and veggies instead???

i get those late night munchies, too. i drink ocean spray lite cran-grape or cran-raz. an 8 ounce glass has about 40 cals and is pretty satisfying to me. fruit works, too. remember to a certain degree it's mind over body when trying to lose weight, to high degree, actually. as unpleasant as it is, you gotta use willpower. :)

indeed. You have to remind yourself that your fitness goals are more important than the ice cream, cookies, or whatever it is that you are snacking on.
