Its been a while since I posted here, But in June of 2012 I weighed in at 293lbs, felt like Hell facing lower Back surgery, rode my Golf cart everywhere would not walk a block! so I faced my self,and asked WTF!! are you doin?? Here I have doctors trying to get me back to health and Iam killing my self with a fork!!So I declared war on my fat azz!! by surgery date In August 2012 I weighed in at 267, HOW?? I parked that golf cart,I walk everywhere I got to the grocery and watch fat azz's fight for the close parking spots I park as far away as I can!! Breakfast is 2 eggs fried in Healty choice butter 2 slices of Bunny bread whole wheat, 9 carbs a slice,2 slices of beacon, I eat eggs a 1 slice of toast and 1 strip of beacon, and give the other slice divided 4 ways and 1 slice of beacon divided 4 ways to my wonderful pup pals!! midday, I have berries, Blue,rasp,straw,Black,etc.with 1 cup cottage cheese and splenda,wonderful!!!!! in between meals I tell my stomach to shut the F up!! thats all you get!! dinner at 5pm a big bowl of mixed salad, 1 can of tuna in water and O'Charlies salad dressing, for a snack a handfull of raw Almonds are great! during the day I drink and average of 1 1/2 quarts of water with crystal light mix, the 2 qt packages,at times I have drank over 2 quarts, if I'am real active.Never never never eat in a restaurant,fast food etc.don't eat any apples or bannas,have raisian bran for fiber, After a while this has become not a diet,its just the way I live,my lowest weight has been 197lbs. But have leveled at 205, I'am 6'3' dropped from a 46 plus waist down to a 34/36 waist depends on the pant mfg.I love me now, don't have a butt! but I can live with that!!My doctors freaked out!! Now I expect the critics to pick this apart,of how I need this and that!! screw you!! it works for me and I' Love it so save your time!! go walk or something!!:hurray:
 
I think that's great! You have done amazingly well, and I'm glad to hear the "diet" has become a lifestyle for you. I hate the word "diet" because it to me means short term success and long term failure because to me a "diet" is short term, and when you get your results you go back to your old ways and gain the weight back.

Frankly, all I can say, is it's great that you are happy with yourself now and you feel good about your body, I think that's all any of us really want. As long as you are healthy (which it sounds like you are to me), nothing else matters.
 
Thanks!! yes I'am very Healthier, weight was killing me AFIB heart stent,now my heart beat is steady!! Had ED!! now I can knock on the door!!HAHAH I read for every pound of weight you carry you put 4lbs of stress on your knees and ankles, Before I could not walk up to my shop, about 100 yards with out stopping and catching my breath!! now I can walk everywhere!!! I could go on and on!! you just have to make up you mind to do it, I think everyone over thinks weight loss!! thinking gym diets, and really defeat themselves Making it more than it really is!! simply,stop eating what was making you FAT!! you will gain energy and want to do more!! will give you a feeling of accomplishment, and self control, diet coke?????What a f'n joke!!! I don't drink anything carbonated, just change you intake!! we don't stop and put gas in the car till its needed, don't stuff your belly till its needed!!FO DA Love OF GOD!! get a hold on yourselves!!!
