HI my name is Ratika Goel and I'm from India. My height is 153 cms and i weigh 82 kgs right now. I have already lost 20 kgs in 4 months through regular gym and dieting. But now I want to lose 20 kgs more and it is very difficult for me. I did not lose any weight this month, only 2 kgs. I am doing 1 hour cardio and 1 hour strength exercise. I do not eat anything junk or fried or sweet and I have given up soda drinks. Please suggest me something new because i really want to lose weight before new years eve. Any suggestion would be appreciated. thanks in advance.

Hey... My biggest tip would be to try give up animal products... They are really bad for you and if you do your research Dairy is toxic... I lost 5.3 kgs in 5 weeks my eating vegan :)... Hope this helps...

What?

I have read a lot of nonsense on this board, but this must be by far the best one yet.

Could I have a look at that research please? I would like to see the study that proves that diary is 'toxic'. I really, really would.

I would also love to know how all those millions and millions of babies manage to survive on milk every year....must be a miracle.....:banghead:

As for the OP, you will always lose weight faster at the beginning. Your weight loss has slowed down, that is natural. 2 kg in a month isn't too bad, it is a healthy rate to lose actually.

For those who work in lbs, the OP is just about over 5"0' and weighs about 181 lbs. Lost about 45 lbs so far, but has only lost 4.5 lbs in the last month.

The formula for healthy weight loss is about 1 - 1.5 lbs per week (obviously depending on weight etc - the bigger you are, the easier you lose, usually). Since you lost weight quite quickly, your body has adapted to your new way of eating, and your exercise. You have to sit down, find out the amount of calories you need to maintain, and cut them by about 500 per day. Possibly look into other exercises as well.

Technically oxygen is toxic too. It slowly poisons us over time, but we need it to live. Should we stop breathing? That being said, one can take any given scenario to far, and the thing about dairy being toxic may have extremely minute tones of truth, but I know for a fact the original researchers would never advocate staying away from dairy products. I agree with San, this is nonsense.
