Hi my name is Tanya. I am from portland, oregon. I am happily married and have 5 pets (our kids). I have lost 142 pounds so far and have about 207 left to lose. I gained most of it from being on zyprexa and seroqul which also caused me to get diabetes type II. After going off those medications my weight has drasticaly changed. I have finally hit a platue and need help. I ordered slimin 6 from e-bay and was wondering if any of you have heard or done this program. I walk everyday because I have two very active dogs. They don't let me go a day with out walking unless it's bitter cold and icy. which it has not been yet this year. we have had some snow but i walked them that with their jackets and booties on so they wouldn't freeze. for anyone looking for a way to get exercise I suggest getting a companion like a dog because they never miss a walk time. When it's time to walk my dogs come and begg to go and I just can't say no. so it helps. If you don't want a dog then I suggest borrowing a neighbors...they would probably appreciate it and it would help you out too.
What type of programs is everyone doing? I am kinda curious so that I know what might work and what might not. I am not too picky about what I eat as long it is not califlower, brussel sprouts, asparagas, or spicey I am happy. I preffer my veggies fresh instead of cooked because I have problems with texture. I can't stand mushy things excpet oatmeal and bananas and other things that are suppose to be mushy.
Any tips, hints, suggestions on programs I could try would be great. I have tried weight watchers but couldn't stand counting points
, I hated LA weightloss because it was just way to restrictive, I have tried richard simmons and other programs. I hope the slim in 6 exercise program is good. if not I could always re-sell it. I have high hopes though because an e-mail buddy of mine has tried it and it is working for her.
I love to watch FitTV on calble and get fitness and diet tips. I watch all the exercise programs to get an idea of whats out there. Sometimes I do In Shape With Sharon Mann but rarely. I find the tv exercise programs are more for people who are fitter and thiner than I.
well I am going to look around and look forward to making friends.
