Hey there..

Im new here, and I have been to a dietitian who has given me an amazing diet which only needs its ingredients to be brought from the supermarket and then we start it!

Is anyone here doing a diet with the help of a nutritionist??

Hey suzzz, welcome to the forum! Can you give us a few more details about what types of foods the nutritionist has recommended for you?

Hi PLBFitness!

Yes of course! she has given me 6 meals a day consisting of breakfast/snack/snack/lunch/snack/dinnerL

Lunch is around 4pm since I told her I finish work at that time and I want to have lunch by then..

She provided me exchange list on fruits and veggies, and the meals at lunch also she gave me quantity on options even if I eat outside which she limited it to once a week.

There is no red tea but only green tea and to use Splenda but I use Stevia coz I like it better..

Everyday there should be a salad plate before lunch, and this is in BOLD!

She said not to have any pop drink but only once a week which is a diet coke, ONCE!

Nescafe to have it once a day limited to 2 teaspoon of coffeemate light

She measured the water in my body and said it was enough to drink 2.5 liter as minimum!

Also she told me to cook with canola oil, no butter, no corn oil, no ghee. I am allowed to have rice in my lunch!! but limited quantity.

As for exercise she told me to talk 40min 6 times a week.

She told me with this diet I can lose 6kg in a month, and to be honest Im amazed I have a nice selection of food.

Im starting tomorrow

BTW I am F/29

I weight 79kg and my goal is to reach 65kg and then I want to go down to 60kg.

I want to lose all this to try for my second baby..

BTW r u a nutritionist?

Hey Suzzz,

What your nutritionist gave to you for meal planning sounds great! She's given you lots of choices and it looks like you have room to splurge a bit on things like one diet pop a week and eating out once a week. Have you started on this plan yet? If you have, how's it going so far?

No, I'm not a nutritionist but I do talk about healthy eating to pretty much all of my clients as it tends to go hand in hand with making healthy lifestyle changes. I've also had the benefit of working with a few registered dieticians, so I've been able to learn a lot from them :)
