Losing weight question, obviously:)

Background info:
208lbs 6ft 24 year old male
have a wonderful beer gut that I am trying to get rid of.

My ideal goal is 195lbs by the end of Jan.

Workout consists of an Upper Lower split 4days a week
Cardio right now is 25 mins on a bike or elliptical @ heart rate of about 130-140 after my workouts.
( I dont run because I have horrible knees)

Diet consists of primarily chicken and lean meat, no carbs after 8pm (except the little from milk/protein in a protein shake) limit of 5-6 alcoholic beverages a week, no beer just whiskey diets.

Now for my question. Am I doing enough cardio with eating right and working out to achieve my goal or do I have to step it up and be doing an hour or so of cardio a day? I plan on starting a HITT program next week on the days I am working out and doing 25-30mins of cardio on the off days from lifting weights. And do you think its possible for me to actually hit 195 lbs by end of Jan with no gut.

Any advice, tips, or responses are appreciated.

Thanks,
B

That's right, we're an extremely unopinionated group.

Look, the reason no one's replied is probably because we really can't answer your question. Weight loss is about calories in vs calories out, and fat loss is about maintaining muscle mass while you lose weight. From what you've said, it sounds like you're on a pretty decent plan (although, are you getting plenty of fruit and veggies?). Now, since we don't know how much muscle mass you have or what your posture's like, we can't really say whether or not you'll still have a gut at 195lb assuming that you do lose fat and not muscle.
