Losing too fast?

My weight loss journey, which has spanned most of the back half of 2010, has helped put me in a great place food-wise, exercise-wise, and has boosted my confidence in a way that I wasn't sure was possibile before.

Still, part of me can't help but feel like maybe I'm losing weight at a dangerous rate, and that it's going to land me in some trouble eventually.

I have, since June 26, 2010, lost 79.6 pounds.
An average week sees me losing about 1.5-3 pounds, depending, but sometimes I'll hit weeks like this past week, where I drop 6.

I ultimately want to push my weight loss efforts into a manageable way of life, so that I can be comfortable with myself and never see those giant numbers on the scale again.

Am I losing weight too fast?
 
I'm no expert but everything I've read says 1-3 pounds a week is safe. As long as you feel good and your dr. gives you a clean bill of health I can't see that it's an issue. Good job on your staying power :) Got any tips, tricks or pointers? lol
