Welcome to the forum.

Setting lots of little milestones is definitely the best way to go when trying to lose a lot of weight... It stops you getting swamped with the overall plan. I used lots and lots of milestones on my big project.

Stay on track and you will quickly lose those first 3kg.

It may be worth making a posting in the newcomer section so that more people see that you have arrived here.
