Is it possible to lose 8 to 16 pounds in 2 weeks?
Have you ever heard of eat fat to lose fat. Dieting is very hard especially when you Love food and food is your comfort. My husband put me on bout Ketogenic Diet
Quick thing bout it ketogenic diet it will put your body into a state called ketosis. Ketosis turns your body into a super fat burning machine!
Not saying this diet was easy to maintain, especially with my lifestyle. But it really really works. Just so excited i found a diet that finally could stick to and works for me. Is anyone familiar bout ketogenic diet how is that working out for you?:rolleyes:
 
A keto way of eating is NOT about consuming more fat, you do not eat fat to loose fat.

In a well formulated keto based diet you need to ensure adequate protein based on lean body mass to maintain muscle, under 50 carbs per day, many go lower and aim for under 20, these carbs come from fresh vegetables, the remaining calories up to your calorie deficit (yes you still need a calorie deficit to loose) come from fat, but only enough that you are not hungry.

Things like fat bombs are highly frowned upon by those who follow this lifestyle and also have an understanding of the science.

the rapid weight loss many see at the beginning of a keto diet is just water weight and NOT fat loss. There is a period of time the body needs to adapt to this lifestyle which can make it difficult to stick to if you are not getting the right electrolyte balance needed, this is often referred to as "keto flu"

Keto is good, but not for everybody, I have been Keto for years as it is a great way to build up quality muscle mass without gaining a lot of excess fat along with the new muscle gains and it fits nicely with my food allergies.
