Losing 100+ LBS

Whats up everyone?
I am 24 years old and currently at 6'1" and weigh a little over 300lbs.

I would like to loose 100+ lbs in a year if possible...

How can I start my journey? I have a treadmill at my house, and an older model bowflex.

What should I eat? Can I eat just strictly veggies and fruits?

I lost 100lbs in the last 15 months. It required a great deal of will power and determination. You will probably look great at 200lbs, so count your calories carefully and use variable motion carbio. And be prepared for hard work. You can do it!

To figure out how much you want to lose, check out this link: . If you want to lose 100 pounds you will need to cut just under 1000 calories a day if you aren't working out. I recommend, however, burning an average of 500 calories extra, and cutting 500 from your diet. It's going to be rough, but if you acknowledge that you are in it for the long haul, you can change your life. Look around and find ways that you can burn those calories. Start slow, park your car further from work, the store, etc. and go for walks around the block with your dog or yourself. Do "deep running" if you have access to a pool, this is where you float in a pool and 'pretend' to jog at a good pace, it's great on your joints and is really close to actually going for a jog as far as calories are concerned. Good luck!
