Lose weight

If you tough it out for a month, do everything right, lose 15-20 lbs (initially you CAN lose that much, after the first month, its unhealthy to lose at that rate though) I can guarantee you won't need any more motivation than that.
15 to 20 lbs! No doubt that would be inspiring! :D That would be downright amazing!! I'm off to a good start anyway. I'm really glad I found this forum for one, and two, I did 20 minutes of pilates this morning before the kids even got up! :) Watching what I eat is another thing though. What's better: cutting fat or cutting cals?

15-20 lbs is mostly water weight, I did it, I was a bit heavy when I started though (283), the lighter you are, the less you may lose in the initial month. 8-10 lbs may be all you lose, but its still 2 inches off of your waist :)

yeah in the first week i lost 4 inches off my waist now all my shorts are starting to slide down when im walking, and i hate that cause im not a g-unit gangsta :p.

YES!!! just messured my waist again and im down another inch!!!!!

theres an easier way.

Go to

its a FREE online food journal. It figures out calories, amount of carbs, protein, and fat (saturated and unsaturated).

Its easier to go with a percentage of macronutrients. I try to eat 40 percent of my total calories in carbs, 40 percent in protein, 20 percent in fat. That website can help you figure out the percentages.

i would say that a low calorie diet is better than a low fat diet, although both should be watched, i feel that fat is more important than calories
