lose weight in 4 weeks

I just got a womans fitness magazine with a 4 week running challenge. Looks tricky but im going to go for it and see how i go! Anyone up for a 4 week running challenge?
 
well obviously theres alot of writing but to narrow it down, doing it
monday
wednesday
thursday
saturday

start off walking 5 mins, then run 15 mins, walk 5 mins. Thats your first work out for monday week one. And as each workout out goes, gradually work harder from walking 5 mins, jogging 10 mins, run 20 mins, walk 5 mins, squats 1 mins. So basically jogging and running 3-4 times a week and eating healthy. And we will see our results.
Eat banana's
apples
almonds
muesli bars
apricot
fruit
vegetables
fish
tuna
chicken (no skin)
pasta (as long as healthy)

and basically healthy!! oh an plenty of water. Im starting tommoro. And if these 4 weeks go well i will continue on from there.

Well one scale says im 57, another says im 58-59. So im going to go by 59kg as my starting weight.

Week one-59kg
Week two-
Week three-
Week four-
 
Sounds like a good challenge. Once I'm out there running, I like to make it a long One (usually 45-60 minutes, with two or three power walk breaks), but maybe if I give myself permission to go for a few shorter runs I will run more often and run faster!

This week I am really going to focus on the hidden bad stuff in seemingly healthy foods. One thing I am learning about myself is that hidden salt blows me up like a whale!! But I would love to take the challenge with you guys to see what we can do in 4 weeks. I do believe that running is the best fat buster excercise there is.

I'm 5"8 and weigh 163 pounds. My PERFECT weight would be about 142, I think (just the way I'm built). I'm also brand new to the forum, so I think a challenge would be a great way to start!
 
im brand new too. So this will be a challenge. And whats another great thing is we have a cross country day at school. So ill get moving then too. Im going to go for a run in about an hour. So my journey has began! hehe. good luck to you all that are taking the challenge! I will post recent updates on how im going. Ive eaten totally healthy today.

Just right cereal-skim milk (i dont drink milk)
1/2 cup of nuts (mixed)
2 slices wholemeal bread, chopped tomato
1 apple

and havent had dinner yet, but something certainly healthy!
 
Enjoy your run! I got out yesterday morning before work for an hour run, but after working until 9 p.m. last night, I couldn't make it happen this morning. I'll fit in a run after work!
 
well i went for my run and feel better, im really tired so off to bed soon. But ive eating healthy, ran and feel great about it. Yay! Cant wait for the results
 
Sounds good seems interesting.

Its such an interesting way to loose weight and with in just 4 weeks.I am ready to take this challange.
 
Well yesterday I let new job stresses get to me and came home and just vegged. (I think I was in bed by 9 actually!) My weight is up and I feel terrible. Going to sneak in a run now which should make me feel better.

SoniaSlim, dont worry. I just ate a big dinner, chicken parmasana and some vegetables. Im so full at the moment. Im running 4 times a week, today was my day off. I will be running tommoro though!
 
Isn't it crazy how weight flucuates, seemingly without reason sometimes?? I just went for a run, and when I came back I weighed 2.5 pounds less than I did right before the run!! I know it's all water weight and will probably come back with this glass of water I'm drinking, but the feeling is awesome!! I may be hooked on running now....

wow. Im on the other side of the world. Its night time right now. 7:20 pm in Australia!
Well i had a cross country run today and out of 70 girls came in the top 20, 17th! I felt so accomplished! Mojority of my girls walked, but there were those that ran and i was lucky enough to beat my goal, i got 19th a couple of years ago. Well so its rest tommoro seen as i had my run today. Buty another run on friday. But i feel so ashamed, i ate 2 bananas tonight. Ugh, but could have been worse, could have been chocolate!
Well done! I'm glad you feel great! Water weight...gr that is annoying but hopefully that will go and we lose fat instead of muscle. :)
