Loose skin?

Hello everyone. I am 20 years old, 5'5" (Depending on where I measure myself, sometimes 5'6") and I currently weigh 215.4 lbs. I started a year ago at 232 and got down to 206, went back to school and gained the freshman fifteen. I have been working to get it off, and have lost almost 7 lbs in a week and a half, which I'm sure is mostly water weight.

I plan on getting down to 140-135lbs eventually. My question is, and I know a lot of other factors add into this, but will I have a lot of loose skin? I mean, it's not going to discourage me either way, and I know my stretch marks will get worse. I just wanted to know if I need to expect a lot of lose skin or if hopefully because of my age and staying out of the sun (I burn way too easily) if maybe my skin will bounce back pretty well.

Also are there any vitamins or lotions I can start using to help with it?

Stretch marks wont get worse if you are loosing weight. And i think you will find your skin will bagg out for a bit but settle down better if you do it at a decent rate. You are young enough for it to bounce back ok for the most part

Hi.
Let me start by saying that this is a great forum and support for people losing weight and the before and after section is very inspiring, it sure helped me.
So, Im 20 yrs old and I started dieting in the middle of April, and since them i have lost around 26 lb and i still have 40 lbs to go.
But im starting to get worried about loose skin. I haven't notice loose skin, maybe it's still to soon, but i would like to know if there are any exercises that i can do to prevent this? Preferably ones that can be done at home since i don't go to the gym ( i don't feel comfortable being at the gym yet, but im planing on going once i lose more weight and feel more comfortable there).
I do some exercise at home everyday, but i don't think it can be comparable as doing it on the gym. At home i have one stationary bicycle, and i do about 40 minutes( with some periods where i give my max power:rotflmao:), I also do :
  • Jumping Jacks - 40, sometimes i do 60
  • Mountain Climbers - I only do 15
  • Side Hops- 20 of these
  • Sprint in Place-I only do this sometimes and do it for 3 minutes( it's not much, i know =/)
  • Burpee - 20
Is there anything i can add to the list for preventing loose skin? Or any lotion that can help?
I also have stretch marks, but those i know it will be hard to go away, but im looking for a lotion for stretch marks to see if it helps( it wont do worse at least...)
Thank you:)
