So, like many of you have, and many more will have..... After losing 80 lbs in a short period of time, my stomach skin was really loose ! It didn't fold over on it's own, but it was SOOO close, I could tell it wanted to.
Well, I had already been down to the same waist size for more than 1 year, and my stomach really seemed like it had tightened all that it was going too.
Which made me all the more concerned, going into this latest cutting cycle. I had been bulking, for a few months, and now I wanted to shave off 10-12 lbs more body slime (fat). But seeing as the rest of my body is getting to be pretty darn lean (I'm at about 13.5% right now.... probably the lowest BF of my entire life !
) most of that 10-12 lbs would have to come from my mid-section !
So, I could just imagine that if my belly hadn't folded over on it's own before, it might just finally fold now !
But to my very happy surprise, after losing several more lbs of fat (about 5 lbs left to go with my current cut) my belly, the last few days has looked even smoother and less like it wants to fold over, than it did before my cut !
{great incentive to stick strictly to my cut cycle !}
So anyway, here's the thing > I think when people grab their sides and say, "But I still have all of this loose skin"..... In reality, a lot of what they are grabbing, is remnants of fat ! So, as some of that fat finally goes away, so does the gravity pulling down on that loose skin !
Bottom line is, even up until one month ago (20 months after starting my "back to fit" journey) I'd have said, "My loose belly skin will never go away.... and I will NEVER post a photo of it on the internet".....
But after the last few days, I'm starting to reconsider that
In fact, I might just have to start working on the abs some more
Peace,
Fish
PS, My web server is down right now, but here shortly, I'll try to post some current photos of myself at the end of this latest cut.... maybe trying to flex after a workout.... and without holding a big fish
LOL
I really haven't looked / felt this good since High School ! .....and that was back when "you HAD to be in good shape", to out run the T-Rex's
