Hi All
Tired of obsessively counting calories for weeks/months at a time only to find yourself suffering from cravings, or worse, starvation only to lose 5 pounds of water weight and maybe a pound or two of fat? I am.
I have tried several diet programs, including weight watchers and the south beach diet, which while good compared to other programs, have yet to cause lasting changes in my body.
My hope is to change not only my body but also how I automatically view food. I can't go through life clenching my will. I have tried many time and failed.
This time around, I am researching the biology of weight management, including hunger and satiety management and looking for a viable long term lifestyle that I can live with. I am starting with You: On a Diet (from the authors of You: The Owner's Manual).
If you are:
1- interested in having a support partner
2- into research
3 - looking to take off at least 25 lbs
