Looking for Advice

I have been overweight most my life. I managed to get down to 150 a couple of time but since I married and had 2 children i have allowed my weight to sky rocket to a of high of 296 pounds. My last child was born 3 years ago, i now weigh 240 most of this weight has come off in the last 12 months all I did was very moderate exercise walking really and cut back on junk 50 pounds pretty good for just that. The last month I have kicked it up a notch or two. I use an elliptical 5 days a week 30 minutes 4th resistance it tells me I am burning 400 calories I also weight train 3 times a week and continue to walk at least three times a week for at least a half hour. I eat 1500 calories a day. Lots of veggies fruits whole grains and lean meats. i do have a cheat day where I will eat pizza or something good but I won't over do it. I have lost plenty of inches 0 pounds. I am 5'7 large frame. I feel happy about the lost inches but would like to see some pounds come off. I have read lots of articles that said it can take months to see results. I want the people like me or have been through this to give me their two cents. It is not like I only have 10 or 15 pounds to lose . I would like to weigh around 150 again. I don't consider this a diet either it is a lifestyle change I plan to always exercise and weight train.
