I'm lookin for a buddy too.
I am at 212 right now....(darn scale said 211 first time I got on it today and then read 212 right after so i'll say a low 212! lol
I started at 225, my highest ever was 235....came here at 217ish a month ago, and hope to get down to 180 before I die lol. Losing 1/2 to 1 lb a week for me is my goal. Its manageable and hopefully when I switch to a maintenance lifestyle, it will be almost seamless.
I'm also working out 3 times a week....so my thinking is I might be gaining muscle while I am losing weight too. (I hope)
I'lm going to get serious about weightlifting/bodybuilding someday. But right now my focus is on eating better and keeping it restricted just enough to lose at the rate I mentioned.
