Looking for a Motivated Weight Loss Buddy

Hi,

I am a 32 year old male. I weigh 197 and am 6'0". Over the past couple of years I've gained 20 lbs I seem to keep increasing in size. I definitely don't like the way I look and know what I should be doing but am having a hard time staying disciplined. My goal is 175 lbs which I know will be a real challenge for me.

Looking for someone, male or female, with similar goals who would like to share ideas and motivation.

Hi Jay,

A friend and I have recently started a weight-loss/health journey (3 weeks in), so we're keen to share how we're getting on :)

We have 2 different starting points, but both with health as the end result. My friend is 120kg, and aiming for the 100kg mark, and I'm trying to increase my muscle mass and revamp my diet, which has essentially consisted of coffee and very little else for many years :D

Anyway, I've just found this forum so we'll be getting involved as much as we can. We're weighing-in and measuring once a week, too (Monday nights), and posting the video clips on YouTube. If you want to have a look at them, or at our weights/measurement tracking etc., feel free to check out our site.

We're also posting our daily food/fluid intake there, and it's really helping! Having that accountability everyday has got us really motivated, and we're hoping to have a bit of fun along the way so that we don't lose that.

im new to the site also
in 2004 i was up to 250 and within a year i was down to 159 and i looked and
felt great. but slowly over the last couple of years i have gained it(and then some) back so im starting all over. im also looking for a support buddy. right now im eating alot of veggies,soups,salads,stirfrys without rice,staying away from anything fried or that has sugar in it. and sticking with lower carb foods
so we will see how it goes.

hi dandywarhol, i'm new here as well and i would love to be your weight-loss buddy. i am sixteen and 5'6 and weigh about 145 right now (although some of that could be water weight) and i'd like to be back at my normal weight, which is about 110.
