Little red dots...

I have little red dots on my arms and I have no idea why...I see alot of people with them and alot of people without them.

They are sort of in beneath the arm hair, not zits or anything (ICK!) but just little red dots...

Can I get them off?

Sounds like heat rash or any other common pore ailment (theres a list of them).

They only appear on pores where you have hair folicles right? Climate change would probably be the only permanent solution. Otherwise, anti-bacterial soap, rinsing, some lotions, etc... they come and go on my legs. Tiny (barely visible) and sporadic.

See a dermatoligist if they really annoy you or you have a lot of them. Its genetics, but heat/sweat tends to create more of them since your pores are getting clogged and irritated.

I dont like to show off my arms because of this.

When it's cold, they are like almost purple, when I have just finished running...they're very red.

Kinda strange.

that can be a sign of vitamin C deficiency. Count how much vit C you get, you should get at least 60 mg per day but for optimum health 3-5 grams is better.

If it's not that probably what surreal said, I'd defantly go get it checked out, you never know when these things are signs of something more serious going on in your body.

this sounds like a circulation problem as far as the purplish color. it sounds a though your body is hypoxic that is not enough oxygen that is because you O2 demands are greater when you are active and the body will shunt the supplys when depleting to your heart and brain. they are most important to keep oxygenated as they are the "box of life", so relax it will go away when your body replenishes it oxygen supply. the red spots could be an allergy to soap, laundry soap, fabric or moisturizers etc. or it could be broken capillaries close to the surface and they too will eventually go away just try to narrow dowmn things by cahnging only one thing at a time for a week at a time. keep a journal of your usual items you use and change from there. just make sure they don't have all the same ingredients.
