So I have a little over 45 or so pounds to lose, that I have carried....for oh....20 years...seriously! I really don't know what I look like without the extra weight...how sad is that?!?! For me, the only way to stick to something is to be 100%. I've tried the "free day"..turns into free month. I've tried "free meal" turns into free week. I cannot have FREE ANYTHING! So being 100% really is my only hope for seeing change.

Here is my plan.

Being 100%...100% for the time :) Eat clean! Walk for exercise and Jillian Michaels 30 day shred

I will have a free meal on my wedding anniversary (6-13), Oh, and Easter too, and that is it until I hit my goal of 130. I will include my meals for the day/week.

I lost 30 pounds last year (I had started at a much higher weight). So I "rewarded" with a week off, that turned into 7 MONTHS off and 20 pounds gained.... See, what I mean! UGH!

I have to be strict with myself until change happens or it never does and 20 years of this is just a prime example.

So HERE WE GO.....:jump:

Oh...I should also add that I am 5' 5" and currently I am 176 pounds. My goal weight is 130. But I haven't been there since my late teens so I'm not even sure what that will look like or feel like. But it's a number to work for until I get close then I can decide where I want to be!

Okay, so for day 1...so far so good! Cleaned the house and got the girls off to school. Monday morning are always crazy then to add to the madness...it snowed. UGH...Hate snow with a passion :flame: There goes my plans for a 2 mile walk. I will just have to do walk-away-the-pounds or somthing else. I'm not gonna let a snow ruin my plans!

So far this morning:

2 cups of coffee with splenda and 2% milk

BREAKFAST: Blueberry hot ceral (made with water) with 1 TBS of coconut oil -

LUNCH - Bocca Chicken pattie on Whole Grain tortilla with spinach and 1 TBS of Asian dressing = about 340 calories

and 1/2 banana and drank water only!

SNACK - Bocca Chicken pattie with lowfat string Cheese and coffee

DINNER - 2 Bocca Patties, other 1/2 of my banana. I wasn't very hungry, but knew I should eat something though.

1.5 Liters of water

Now, if you haven't read on the health benifits of coconut oil, you should google it. I didn't discover this till about 3 weeks ago. You can bake with it, add it to smoothies and so on. You can also use it on the skin. UNBELIEVEABLE conditioning of my skin. I haven't used lotion for 3 weeks and my skin looks and feels better then it has in years. So that's my tid bit of information for today!

So 100% day for me....YEAH!! Been a while since I've had a spot of day :beating:

Because it snow ALL. DAY. LONG... I ended up doing the 2 Mile Walk away the pounds with the strength bands. It was a good lil' workout! I really enjoyed it. Ended the night snuggling on the couch with my oldest daughter watching Hoarders. For some odd reason, we LOVE that show. Although I DO NOT recommend watching it while you eat...yeah, not a good idea. Overall fantastic day of being in control. I love that feeling :)

I must admit that I am an everday weigher  I know...I know...sometimes not a good idea. BUT I've tried the once a week weigh in with no peeks at my weight during the week. But it just doesn't work for me. I feel like I cant keep control if I start to creep up I can nip it before it turns into pounds gained at the end of the week. It is my normal. My offical weigh-ins are Saturday mornings. Okay, that being said, I have lost 3.6 pounds overnight. However, I do know that this is water weight....but...DON'T CARE...I'm doing the happy dance

Luna, good luck! I will certainly be following along. Our stats are similar, although you're a bit taller. My problem is the same with the 100% department, although I have to look at it like, staying aboard 100% of the time, rather than cutting myself any slack. 30-40 lbs seems so LONG from now to me, but I'll root you on the whole way since I have the same climb to make!!

Hi Star! Yes it does seem so far, yet, 20 years have past and I STILL carry this weight!! My oldest daughter is 12 and she only knows me at this weight...kinda sad really when you think about it. So many wasted years being self conscioius, pulling at my clothes, not wearing what I want, but what I thought hid my fat the best. THERE IS NO HIDING THAT! LOL! In 4-5 months this weight will be off. YES! WE CAN DO THIS!!!

Today was a great day! Day 2 of no slips, oops or why did I eat that!

1 Cup of coffee with splenda and 4oz. 2% milk

Breakfast: Peach hot cereal (made with water) with 1TBS. of Organic Coconut Oil

Snack: String Cheese - 6 grams of protein!

Lunch: Veggie Stir-fry (Broccoli, Cauliflower, Carrots, Cherry Tomatos, Spinach, Garlic and Veggie protein crumbles) with a dash of Asian light dressing

Snack: 1/2 Banana, Coffee and a handful of saltine crackers. I was feel lightheaded and kinda weird.

Dinner: Bocca Chicken Pattie, Whole Grain tortilla with spinach

1.25 Liters of Water

No walking for me  Had work deadlines that had to be met TODAY....or I would be dead. That's why they call them deadlines ya know ;) So overall an excellent day I am proud of!

My lunch Stir-fry!

Typed out this long ass post and boom...it was gone :icon_bs: I was all funny and everything...LOL!

Another spot on day. I'm heading to bed to read. ahhhhhhh......

Luna, do you know how many cals you're eating per day? Your food choices look much better than mine, but I think we both need wayyyy more protein.... how are those bocca patties by the way? Are they high in sodium? My body LOVES to store water when I eat salt I HATE it because I am soooo obsessed with salt. I'd pick Doritos over brownies any day.

I'm also an every day weigher, its so bad. I "lost" .4 lbs yesterday and I was like, yea! but really.... I'm sure I gained it back with one cup of water. I'm right there with you

I'm eating around 1200 cal. a day. I LOVE the Boca Pattes. The chicken ones have 11g proten, 160 calores, and 430mg of sodum. I'm not a real huge beef eater so these come in sooo handy for my protein, so I;m not eating chicken breast all the time. I buy 3-4 boxes at a time of dfferent flavors. My sweet tooth takes over my dreams!! If I could move to CandyLand, I would :p

Today was another great day of being on target. Although it does seem to be getting harder. My daughter left her CHOCOLATE ceral bar on the counter today.....rude lill' child

I think I'll ground her :coolgleama:

Volunteered in my youngest daughters classroom today. I have volunteered twice a week for 6 years in the school. And I totally love every minute of it. Because I was running late and had to pack two lunches, make sure teeth were brushed, hair was combed, homwork in backpacks, note were signed, jackets were on..I didn't get time to eat breakfast before I left. So breakfast was at about 11:00 when I returned home.

2 cups of coffee w/ 2% milk (had 1 tsp of creamer in my second cup at school)

Breakfast: 2 Boca Patties

Lunch: Pasta with a herb sauce (Herb sauce was 54 calories) and mixed veggies with Morning Star Protein Crumbles

Dinner: Turkey sandwhich (no mayo), String cheese (family had hamburgers and fries) :toetap05:

Handful of Saltines crackers. I have been suffering from a headache for the last few days. I'm sure it's from no soda, sugar, fat, or anything else that makes your brain go YUMMMMM! It hates me right about now :(
