Liam's Weight Loss Diary!

Hello my name is Liam and I am a 13 year old boy from UK and I am making this diary to post how I am doing during my weight loss challenge.

My current weight: 62.1 KG (which i believe is 136.9 according to google)

Goal weight: I do not have a specific weight in LB's but lets say to be slim and get rid of my man boobs which are highly embarrassing.

My food plan: I am going to stop eating chocolate bars,crisps,sweets, and all those kind of unhealthy junk food. Also eat 5-6 small portions in a day including fruit and veg.

My exercise plan: I will work on the heavy bag for at least an hour every day of the week except Sunday which is my break day, also about 30 minutes of exercises like Push ups, Tricep dips , squats and lunges.

Well that's all I have to begin with but i will be checking the scales weekly on Saturday morning and posting my weight on here.

I will also be posting daily saying how I got on in the day and if I have done my exercises or if i have been eating badly all that stuff :p ( which I hope I don't have to post anything saying I have not been exercising!)


I will also be uploading a picture of my torso monthly so myself and everyone else can actually see the progress.

1ST Day 02 August 2009

First day Thoughts: WOW, The heavy bag took all my energy from just 15 minutes of work :drooling: .Next time i wont go all out on the bag and hopefully I can last 30 minutes.

I am going to change my exercise plan from an hour of heavy bag training to 15 minutes for the first week or 2 weeks then move on to 30 minutes and finally an hour when I have the stamina for it.

Food
For breakfast I ate a small bowl of rice crispies with semi skimmed milk.

Lunch was soup with 2 slices of bread ( next time i have soup i will change to 1 slice and ask my mum for brown bread instead of white)

And dinner I will have 1 slice of toast with some beans.

Snack if i get hungry will be an apple or any other healthy fruit.
 
2nd Day 03 August

Days thoughts
Today went much better on the bag as I didn't go all out on it at once although i can feel slight aches in my arms and legs from the other exercises.
 
Hi Liam. Glad to see you started a diary.

You still need to be eating more ... and healthier foods. I know it's hard when you're reliant on what your mom cooks, but maybe you can work with her to help create healthy meals for your whole family.

You need to add more veggies to your diet - fruit and veggies will help a lot with nutrition and help you get more energy for your workouts. :)
 
Thanks for the reply kara, I will try to eat more of the healthy foods but its hard because i don't really want to tell my mum about it as i get embarrassed about it
