Less cardio & more resistance

Basically, I have killed my body. Working out twice a day most days for the past 6 months, all cardio. And yes, I have lost weight, but my body hurts.

So, I'm going to cut back on the cardio for a little bit, and focus on my diet and resistance training. I'm also going to give myself one complete day of rest. No cardio, no resistance, nothing. I'll still do some light cardio a few times a week. For resistance training, I have some circuits that I've torn out of magazines that I plan on doing. I also just got a chin up bar, so, although I can't do one yet, I'll work those as well.

I don't really have a question. Just wondering if this seems okay to do. Can I still lose weight this way? Thanks.
