Leg workouts

Ok first post so bear with me...I am 14 years old 5' 7'' 130 pounds i play 3 sports baseball basketball and soccer. I am in the weight room often but am starting up again that baseballs rolled around. When i was younger i was kinda big. I've really thinned out but for some reason my thighs seem really unhealthy looking. I'm pretty slow and i need some good exercises for my legs. I want to thin them out and replace some fat with muscle. i'm not sure how this is done. From what i heard the easiest way to thin your body is to eat healthy sounds stupid but i mean not including your stomach. I eat pretty good and my stomach is pretty flat strait down to my belt area. My stomach hangs over very very little but im not nasty skinny. It just seems to be my thighs that are big. Can anyone give me some tips on how to thin them out. At home i have access to a cheap weight bench but it works a 5 pound medine ball a big workout ball thing i'm not sure what its called the ones that you lay on for exercises a lot of diffrent weights a jump rope and more. I may have more if theres something that works good if you tell me i might have it. After school i have access to a pretty nice weight room in my school with 2 of those nice leg machines.

Does that mean 45 degree leg press? If so try and get one of the coaches or someone experienced with lifting to show you how to do squats with proper form and such instead. You can find animations and pictures on the net but it definitly helps to have someone who knows what they are doing watching you.
