Leg stretching (feeling it in knees)

Hello all,

I recently added a couple of new stretches to my warm up (i.e. sitting, legs straight out in a 'V' shape - as wide as possible). What concerns me is that whenever I do this, I feel it a lot in the inside part of my knees (I don't and never have had knee problems).

At first I thought it was just that there is a muscle there that is weak, but when I asked a couple of friends about it they said that they do not feel anything like I described.

For now I'm just slowly and carefully keeping at it, but just thought I should make a post here in case my description raises any red flags that some of you may be aware of...
